Clear Vision is housed in the Manchester Buddhist Centre, one of the largest urban Buddhist centres in Europe.

Local Buddhists have turned this Victorian warehouse into a strikingly beautiful place of practice and worship, open to the public.

School visits from Key Stage 1 through to PGCE are welcome here, where we offer guided visits and explore Buddhist ideas and practices.

We charge £3 per student for a 90 minute visit.

New Buddhist-Christian project: The Place of Peace

The Place of Peace is a joint venture by Manchester Cathedral (Church of England) and the Clear Vision Trust/ Manchester Buddhist Centre (Friends of the Western Buddhist Order).

Pupils visit the Cathedral and nearby Buddhist Centre on the same day, using the buildings to explore Christian and Buddhist perspectives on issues of war, peace and justice.

The cathedral features a regimental chapel, war-time bomb damage and some of the finest medieval carving in England; the Buddhist Centre is a beautifully converted Victorian cotton warehouse and home to many Buddhist "Right Livelihood" projects. Both are places of peace.

£5 per student.
