Celebrating Sangharakshita
Urgyen Sangharakshita has had a profound effect on the lives of many individuals through both personal contact and through the WBO, the FWBO and TBMSG, the founding of which have been the major work of his life. There are many who are intensely grateful for what he has done.
The occasion of his 70th birthday presented the opportunity for
showing that gratitude: Jayamati and Maitreyabandhu perform a short drama, a comic sketch in which they, novice Bodhisattvas, oversee the life of a very promising young man in the otherwise uninteresting backwater Jambudvipa.
Then Subhuti gives voice to his gratitude of Sangharakshita. In this sincere and often humourous eulogy he recounts both personal anecdote and rejoices in Sangharakshita's life. (58 mins)
